Not enough time for the full Sydney Sights tour or only have an afternoon free? Don’t worry, we’ve got you! During this shorter 1.5 hour, easy-walking tour we will uncover the history, and explore the highlights of Australia’s most popular city. Your friendly and knowledgeable Sydney tour guide will give you insights into the people, places and events of our sun kissed city – whilst leaving plenty for you to explore on your own.
From the Town Hall we will explore Sydney’s beginnings and development, from it’s early days as a convict colony right up to the major developments that have made Sydney the world city that it is today. We’ll also cover things to see and do in Sydney, especially those that are free, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Our Highlights walk concludes near the Sydney waterfront at Circular Quay and the historic Rocks precinct, giving you unbeatable views of the Opera House just in time for evening drinks or dinner.
This is an express 1.5-hour walking tour covering a gentle 2km route through the CBD. It’s designed as a concise overview of the city’s stories and history without taking up your entire afternoon.
The main difference is the length and some of the sights.
The Sydney Sights Tour is our more comprehensive walking tour, lasting between 2.5 and 3 hours. It is ideal for those wanting a deeper dive into the city’s history and includes extra landmarks such as the General Post Office, the Cenotaph, Angel Place, a walk through The Rocks and finishes with better views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
The Sydney Highlights Tour is a shorter, 1.5-hour tour perfect for visitors with limited time. This tour focuses on the key sights, but also includes the State Library of New South Wales and the Museum of Sydney.
Note neither of the tours overlap with The Rocks Tour.
Because this is a shorter tour we keep moving without a formal 10-minute break, though your guide can easily point out public facilities along the way and where they’ll be next if you need something quickly.
There is no upfront ticket fee! You simply reserve your spot online, enjoy the walk, and leave your guide what you thought they were worth at the end based on your experience. Guides accept cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. 
Yes! The entire route follows flat, paved CBD footpaths and wide pedestrian crossings, making it completely accessible for prams, strollers, and wheelchairs.
Yes! The Sydney Highlights tour finishes next to the Rocks district and a short walk from the start of The Rocks tour, giving you a bit of a break for a drink or early dinner before delving into the stories and history of the Rocks with us.
To keep public groups manageable and enjoyable for everyone, organised and groups of 10+ aren’t permitted on public tours. You can easily book a Sydney Private Tour for a custom experience tailored to your group!
