Where to Meet

FAQs

We gather in King George Square (at the Petrie Tableau at the Ann St side of the square). Look for your guide wearing a bright green I’m Free Tours t-shirt! Click here for Google Maps directions.

Our Brisbane Sights tour wraps up along the riverfront near the Botanic Gardens on the Kangaroo Point Bridge, giving you an easy jumping-off point for lunch, coffee, or a short walk to Eagle Street pier where you could grab a scenic ferry ride on the CityCat. Click here for Google Maps directions.

The walk spans around 3.5km (roughly 2 miles) across Brisbane’s CBD. We keep a very easy, relaxed pace with brief commentary stops every few minutes to take in the sights and river views.

The guide will start introductory commentary about 5 minutes after the official start time right at the meeting point. If you miss us, we move across the road next to Albert St Uniting church and then follow Ann St to ANZAC Square.

Yes! Brisbane’s central district features wide, modern footpaths and gentle pedestrian ramps, making this specific route very comfortable for prams, strollers, and wheelchairs.

Definitely. Your guide incorporates a scheduled mid-tour pause near public amenities and water refill stations so everyone stays hydrated in the Brisbane sunshine.

There is no upfront fee or fixed ticket price! You simply enjoy the experience and decide what it was worth at the end. Guides accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash.

Because we cap public group sizes to keep the walk social and easy to hear, organised groups and groups of 10+ cannot join standard public sessions. You can easily book a Brisbane Private Tour to get a dedicated guide exclusively for your group!
